2 Weeks Ended

2 weeks of ophthalmology.
possibly a little too short for us to really have master the posting.
what a waste, really enjoyed the posting. till the very last drop.
good academicians, doctors showing good examples, every question being answered appropriately.
kinda reluctant to leave that posting =p
the end of posting questions were pretty straightforward too.

we all say that the heart and the brain, are the 2 most important organs in the body.
some argued hearts' the most important, some opted for brain.
however, eyesight is what a human treasured most.
that's what i could learn from patients i talk to.
most with an eye condition which is not fully curable or have a lower chance of recovery,
worry over all their activities, their hobbies, their jobs.
some went into depression.
and it's particularly sad, if someone with a curable poor vision, goes for a surgery, ended up worse.
it's depressing.
i could only offer to listen, thats what i could do for now, as a student.

if we loss our heart, means we are dead and it's crazy to find depression in dead people. if we loss our brain, means we can't think anymore and emotionless, so where come the feeling of depression? but if we loss our eyes, means we gonna live in total darkness. we can't see the rainbow, can't see the starry night, also can't read the text messages from our loved one. =P imagine that... that's why of all the parts of organ in our body, eyes are the one we really need to treasure and value. ^^

guess you gonna further in this branch? sound interesting. u know, study of the window of people's heart. ^^

every single disease is a possible cause of depression. haha. it's just that i find that those with serious eye conditions tend to complain more, talk more about their worries.

further studies in ophthalmo? may be considered, but wanna finish all other postings first then only can know what i like the most haha
